System Keyboard This option does not specify if a keyboard is attached to the computer. Rather, it
specifies if error messages are displayed if a keyboard is not attached. This option
permits you to configure workstations with no keyboards. The settings are Absent or
Present. The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are Present.
Primary Display This option configures the type of monitor attached to the computer. The settings
are Mono, CGA40x25, CGA80x25, VGA/EGA, or Absent. The Optimal and Fail-
Safe default settings are VGA/EGA.
Password Check This option enables password checking every time the system boots or when you run
AMIBIOS Setup. If Always is chosen, a user password prompt appears every time
the computer is turned on. If Setup is chosen, the password prompt appears if
AMIBIOS is executed. See the Advanced Setup chapter for instructions on changing
a password. The Optimal and Fail-Safe defaults are Setup.
Parity Check
Set this option to Enabled to check the parity of all system memory. The settings are
Disabled or Enabled. The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are Disabled.
Boot To OS/2
Set this option to Enabled if running OS/2 operating system and using more than 64
MB of system memory on the motherboard. The settings are Enabled or Disabled.
The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are Disabled.
