A.3.7.2 Clearance
NOTE: These clearance requirements also account for the distance requirement for removing
cards from the chassis.
A.3.8 Number of Slots
NOTE 1: 1 - 8 slots on the 8916 are multi-purpose. Three (3) will accept either Server or User
cards and 4 will accept either WAN or user cards. Position four must be a User card.
NOTE 2 - These slots can accommodate either two (redundant) power supplies or a single
power supply with a voltage converter and ringing generator or a single power supply with
two ringing generators.
