13.1 Fixed Loop Hole Processing
Generally, fixed loop hole processing usually consists of six action, as shown in Fig. 13-1.
Action 1: X, Y axis orientation, make knives rapid positioning to the machining position;
Action 2: move quickly to R point, cutting tool from the initial point quick feed to R point.
Action 3: hole processing, execute the hole in the way of cutting feed processing;
Action 4: action in the bottom of the hole, including suspension, warrant stop of spindle, cutter shift action;
Action 5: return R point, continue hole processing;
Action 6: a quick return to the initial point, hole processing generally should choose to return after the
completion of the initial point.

1. The Initial Plane
The initial plane is stipulated for the safety of cutting. Initial plane distance on the surface of the parts can be
arbitrarily set in a safe value, the initial point of the plane is shown in Fig. 13-1. When using the same cutting tool
processing several holes, only the hole between the hurdles to jump or full hole processing is completed, just use
G98 functions make tool returns to the initial plane initial point, otherwise use G99to return to R point.
2. R Point
