Memory View
Memory View lets users see what the memory looks like after the signals have been
transmitted. By decomposing the packets into basic elements, the relationship
between data and addresses in a protocol is clarified. The Memory View window is
located in the Secondary Display Area.
Concretely, the Memory View window consist of tables that show which data have
been read from- and written to which address in the memory. Write data are written
in blue; Read in blue; see an example of read data in Figure 3-1.
Two view modes can be accessed by right-clicking: Compact (default) and Full. The
Compact Mode saves space as the information is presented in a matrix form;
addresses are found by adding the column number/letter to the end of the row name,
and the data located at that address is read directly from the intersection of the
row/column.
