The hearing protector features level-limiting of audio signals from the speakers to maximum 82 dB(A) at the

ear. Remember to adjust the volume when working in noisy environments so that any warning signals etc. can

be heard.

On/Off Volume Radio

Turn the dial (A:10) to switch on the radio. Continue turning clockwise to increase the volume.

In the event of poor reception conditions, the radio automatically switches from stereo to mono mode to

maintain optimal audio quality.

Frequency/channel selector

Turn the dial (A:11) to choose radio stations. The radio’s frequency range is FM 88-108 MHz, AM 540-1700

KHz (A:11b).

Level Dependent “Active listening”

The hearing protector is equipped with Level Dependent “Active listening”. If interference or faults occur,

consult the manufacturer’s instructions on maintenance and battery replacement.

Warning!

The sound from the Level Dependent “Active listening” on the hearing protector can exceed the

external noise level.

On/Off Volume Level Dependent function

Turn the dial (A:12) to turn on the active listening microphones. Continue to turn clockwise to increase the

volume. Check that the function is operable before using the unit in a noisy environment.

Level Dep Radio

function is operable before using the unit. If interference or faults occur, consult the manufacturer.

Warning!

Connection of an external audio source can entail a sound level that exceeds the daily permitted

exposure level.

NOTE!

The volume function (A:12 or A:10) must be turned on when using the external audio input.

FUNCTIONS

You also need access to the user instruction for the Bluetooth® compatible unit (mobile phone etc.)

communicating with the headset

.

The hearing protector features level-limiting of audio signals from the

speakers to maximum 82 dB(A) at the ear.

Pairing with other Bluetooth® unit

Pairing establishes a wireless link for communication between the units. Pairing is only needed once for each

pair of units. The headsets can store up to 8 different units in its memory.

1. Start the headset Bluetooth® function by pressing and holding down the Bluetooth® knob (A:14) (from

here on referred to as the BT knob) for 3 seconds. An audio signal with 4 ascending tones is heard in the

headset. The headset LED light (A:15) flashes red/blue to confirm pairing mode. Release the BT knob.

2. Start the Bluetooth® function on your phone (or other unit) and search for and connect to new unit. See the

user instruction for your phone (or other unit). Zekler 412 is shown in the phone’s display. If the phone requires

a PIN code, enter four zeros (0000).
3. An audio signal with 1 tone is heard in the headset when the link is established and ready for

communication. The headset LED flashes blue.

4.

If the pairing fails, switch off all headset functions and restart again from step 1.

The headset boom microphone (A:7) should be placed approximately 1 cm from the mouth for best

noise suppression and clear speech intelligibility. Make sure the microphone is facing the mouth

(A:7b).

When Bluetooth® pairing has been activated, the link is automatically established with the headset next time

the hearing protection is switched on. The connection link is confirmed with an audio signal in the headset and
