Operation
This chapter gives instructions for using the device.
Preparations
VISUSCOUT 100 is both charged and connected to PC (Personal Computer)
using the provided cradle. When VISUSCOUT 100 is not used, it may be stored
in the cradle. Storing device in the cradle is not harmful for the battery, because
battery is charged only when charge is dropped below certain limit.
To connect VISUSCOUT 100 to the cradle gently place it to the connector hole.
Connection to a PC
Image data transfer method to PC is
similar as with a digital camera.
When connected to a PC running

, operating
system displays query for AutoPlay.
It is possible to select appropriate
image viewing program or simply
open the folder to view and then
store files to the hard disk of the PC:
Writing to the memory card from PC
is disabled by default.
When VISUSCOUT 100 Client is
used (provided in the USB memory
stick), images can also be transferred
to the PC via USB or WIFI
automatically. USB write protection must be turned off to enable automatic image
transfer either via WIFI or USB. Instructions how to establish WIFI and USB
connection with VISUSCOUT 100 Client are presented in
Appendix C.
DICOM worklist (Patient list) can be transferred from PC to camera by using the
VISUSCOUT 100 SYNC software provided in the USB memory stick.
Instructions for transferring the worklist are presented in VISUSCOUT 100
SYNC User Manual. The patient list can be transferred to VISUSCOUT 100 via
USB or wirelessly. After transfer, press middle button for long to activate the
uploaded patient list.
Note
that if there are no existing folders or images in VISUSCOUT 100, updating
the patient list in the camera by pressing Middle button will lead to an error
