Capturing images
The VISUCAM C DigitalCamera allows capture modes COLOR, GREEN
and RED.
The image capturing procedure in the available modes is controlled via
the buttons on the
Image Capture desktop. The operations required
for image capture in the COLOR, RED and GREEN modes are described
in Section Choosing the image capture mode
on page 38.
Note
The instrument base is equipped with a special sensor for right
eye / left eye detection.
When you reposition the VISUCAM C from the right to the left
patient eye, the new position will be automatically indicated on
the monitor. The current position is included in the comment of
image capture (OS / OD).
Color images (COLOR)
In COLOR mode, the patient eye is captured in true colors.
•
Activate the COLOR mode by a click on the corresponding button on
the
Image Capture desktop and the desired image angle. .
The necessary parameters are set automatically.

Release image capture by pressing the pushbutton on the joystick.
GREEN images (REDFREE)
As a rule, GREEN images are taken with a green filter as a supplement
to the fundus image. The green images deliver high-contrast
black/white images of the vascular system of the fundus.
•
Activate the GREEN mode by a click on the corresponding button on
the
Image Capture desktop and the desired image angle.
The necessary parameters, such as filter and light-pulse intensity, will
be set automatically.

Release image capture by pressing the pushbutton on the joystick.
