Halogen light source

Ventilation grid
Do not cover the ventilation grid!

For example drapes covering the vents. This could cause the integrated
thermal switch to turn off the light source.

Flap
The flap is used as the mechanical indicator for the operating status of the
halogen lamps.

–

When the flap is closed, the main lamp is operative.

–

The open flap indicates that the backup lamp is being used.

Manual switching to the backup lamp
Pressing this button swivels in the backup lamp (Page 216)

Lamp module

Opening the lamp module
When you press this button, the slide-in lamp module is partially ejected.
Pull out the lamp module all the way for exchanging the lamp.

Brightness setting
If the light source is switched on, the brightness can be infinitely adjusted
by turning the brightness control button for the fiber illumination.

- Left position: minimum brightness

- Right position: maximum brightness
