Gray scale value

The charge is converted into a voltage signal which corresponds to a
gray scale value on the monitor of the user computer. The gray scale
value can be set, among other things, by means of the detector gain
and the integration time.

Positioning system

The positioning system consists of several components: X guide beam, Y
slide, Z support, and a rotary table. There are four travel directions: X, Y,
Z, and R (rotary table axis).
