Recording the depth dose curve (INTRABEAM 600)
Position the probe tip in equal steps in the Z axis, moving farther and farther
away from the IC ionization chamber. Measure the depth dose in each new Z
position. Drawing a connecting line between the individual measurements
yields the depth dose curve of the current XRS 4.
• Actuate the <Fortsetzen> button to reactivate the emission of X-ray radi-
ation.
• Measure the depth dose in the Z position Z

. Start the charge
measurement on the electrometer.
The measurement takes 60 sec.
The measurement result is a charge Q(Z

) [C] or Q(r

) [C].
• Position the probe tip in position Z
2
or for r
2
.
• Restart the charge measurement and then position the probe tip in the
next Z position.
• To terminate the measurement series, actuate the <Stop> button.
