Removing the base of the device from the device cover
Loosen the four hexagonal screws

of the housing with a 8 mm spanner.
(Phillips screws may be installed in older device versions. Loosen these using a
PH 2 Phillips screwdriver.)
Caution
RISK OF COMPONENT DAMAGE
Risk of damaging the FBG filter board while removing the device base
from the cover.
Carefully lift up the base and watch out for stuck parts.

. Avoid jamming any parts whilst removing.
Rotate the base of the device by 180° – the internal assemblies are now on
top and the handle on the bottom – and carefully place it at an ESD work
station.
