The values set by the ZEISS service engineer may slightly deviate from
the indicated values.
If the required pressure is no longer indicated, proceed as follows:
1 Identify the cause of the decrease or increase in pressure.

2 Call a ZEISS service engineer if you cannot find or eliminate the
cause.
Setting up the changer rack
Requirements
The changer rack is mounted by a ZEISS service engineer during the ini-
tial start-up. If the changer rack is to be installed in another location or a
second changer rack is to be installed, you have to observe certain
points.
The requirements must be known before installing a changer rack.
– Long stylus systems may possibly require longer columns.
– When using stylus systems with long horizontal styli, it may prove
impossible to use all holders.
Possibly two changer
racks The requirements of the measuring job influence the number of holders
which can be used and the height of the changer rack. It may be neces-
sary to install two changer racks.
Clarify questions in ad-
vance The following questions must be clarified before installing the changer
rack:
– How high does the column of the changer rack have to be?
How long is the longest stylus system needed for the measurement?
– Number of holders used for the measurement?
Space required by the widest stylus system?
– Number of stylus systems required for workpiece measurement?
