Power is supplied to the Axiocam 105 color via the USB 3.0 interface card. If you
switch off the PC, the camera is also switched off.
5.4 Function indicator
After you have switched on the PC, the LED on the camera will light up red. As a
rule, if the LED is red, this indicates that power is being properly supplied to the
Axiocam 105 color via the data cable. However the driver has not yet been
installed. For the definitions of the LED color signals, refer to the list below:
Signal Meaning
Red Power supplied; no driver loaded, camera not detected
Green flash 3x USB 3.0 connection detected
Green Driver loaded; camera ready
Off No power supplied
