Mounting the tube, eyepieces and objective lens

• Give securing screw (2) a few turns to loosen it.

• Remove dust cover (3) and store it in a safe place.

• Position binocular tube (4) on the surgical microscope and tighten secur-

ing screw firmly (2). The straight binocular tube is shown here as an ex-
ample.

• You can install further accessories between the binocular tube and the

microscope body. Fasten these assemblies in the same way using the
securing screw (2).

• Insert eyepieces (5) in the mounts provided on the binocular tube as far as

they will go. The magnetic coupling reliably secures them in position.
If required, use the sleeves supplied.

• Screw the objective lens (1) into the microscope body and tighten it firmly.
