Halogen light source
1 Ventilation grid
Do not cover the ventilation grid!
For example, drapes could be covering the screen. This could cause the in-
tegrated thermal switch to turn off the light source.
2 Flap
The flap is used as the mechanical indicator for the operating status of the
halogen lamps.
– When the flap is closed, the main lamp is operative.
– The open flap indicates that the backup lamp is being used.
3 Manual switching to the backup lamp
Pressing this button swivels in the backup lamp (Page 217)
4 Slide-in lamp module
5 Opening the slide-in lamp module
When you press this button, the slide-in lamp module is partially ejected.
Pull out the lamp module all the way for exchanging the lamp.
6 Brightness setting
If the light source is switched on, the brightness can be infinitely adjusted
by turning the brightness control button for the fiber illumination.

Left position: Minimum brightness
- Right position: Maximum brightness
