Encoding SDI Video

The DME-10-G also supports encoding up to 3G-SDI video.

Connect an SDI source to “SDI In” on the rear panel of the encoder.

Return to the user interface.

Click the red “Stop” button at the bottom of any screen to stop any current encoding.

At the CH1 tab, change the “Video Source” to “HD-SDI” using the dropdown menu. Though “HD-SDI”

is listed, this selection supports up to 3G-SDI resolutions.

Verify your remaining settings are as desired. See Section 8.0 for a detailed list of all options.

Click the green “Start” button.
