If required, it is possible to disconnect the power path from the J6 power input to the encoder board
altogether by removing R23. This is a large SMD resistor located near the console port jack.
When this connector is severed, the J6 DC power input jack will only provide power to the encoder system
but not the camera. See section 4.8, Camera Power Connector below.

Micro-SD Card Connector
This is a standard Micro-SD connector. The encoder can record streams directly to the SD card.
4.7
KEL Connector for Video Input
The KEL connector located on the main encoder board implements the interface with Sony EV7520 cameras
or compatible.
Please be sure to only use cables provided by Z3 technology.
DO NOT USE KEL CABLES FROM SONY – PERMANENT DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
See section 6.1 below.
Be sure to only use with HD cameras with Sony LVDS interface. This interface is *NOT* designed
to be used with Sony 4K cameras, which have HDMI interface.
