Encoding with Forward Error Correction

Zixi Feeder™
The Z3-MVE-150 is Zixi Feeder™ enabled. A compatible decoder with Zixi Receiver™ integration is
required to utilize this feature.
Verify your Zixi Receiver™ device is running or your encoded stream will fail to start.
Return to the user interface.
(1)
If necessary, click the “Stop” button in the “Channel Controls” section of the CH1 tab or the
“Stop All” button in the lower right corner of any screen to stop any current encoding.
(2)
Set “Output Format” to “ZIXI”.
(3)
Set the “Dest Address” to “address:port/streamid” where:
(a)
“address” is the IP address of the decoder
(b)
“port” is the port of the decoder
(c)
“streamid” is any stream ID or name you select (for example, 192.168.0.6:2088/z3)
(4)
The Zixi percent overhead can be adjusted by entering a number between 1 and 100 in the “Zixi
Overhead” textbox.
(5)
If log in credentials are desired, select “True” in the “Zixi Credential Enable” dropdown menu
and enter your valid user and session ID information.

Click the “Start” button.
