Clothing
When working with the tiller, close-fitting work clothes, sturdy
work gloves, hearing protection and boots with non-skid soles
and steel toe caps are compulsory.
Use
Remove all foreign bodies form the area before use. Stone, glass, branches, etc. can
damage the tiller. Check that all bolts on the tiller are tightened.
Warning: Stay out of the red zone, while starting the engine!
Always start the engine from the green safety zone See figure 9
Starting:
Set the throttle handle to choker/full throttle.
Follow the engine instructions for starting.
Stopping:
Set the throttle handle to minimum throttle.
Follow the engine instructions for stopping.
Using the handle:
To use the black handle, the control stick must first be activated. By tilting the control stick
to the right side and activating the black handle, the tiller will move forwards. Fig 4A
The tiller is designed for cultivating vegetable gardens and flowerbeds. The machine can
also be equipped with various accessories for a variety of tasks.
Read the instructions carefully and make sure you are familiar with how to start and stop
the engine in particular.
The ground should generally be tilled 2-3 times in different directions.
Do not cultivate very wet soil, as clods will be formed, and these are difficult to break up
again. Very dry soil may need to be cultivated twice.
Note: The transmission becomes very hot during use.
Adjusting the depth skid
The depth skid can be adjusting for tilling to different depths. The deeper the depth skid in
the soil, the deeper the tilling blades will work and the slower the machine will advance.
The correct cultivating depth will lighten your workload. The setting for the depth skid
depends on the soil conditions, and we recommend doing several trials to see how deep
the depth skid should be, so that you can work optimally in your soil.
