Available Services to Busy Phones 

Upon answering or reconnecting a call, whose original destination is a busy phone, the EVM 
provides the caller an appropriate service, one of the following. 

ADM_5_9903

_[x1xx] 

Plays the Personal Busy Prompt if the mailbox owner has already 
recorded it. The caller can only leave a message. 

Plays the Backup Busy Prompt (

paragraph 13

 or 16 depending on the 

time period) if the system administrator has already recorded it. The 
caller can only leave a message. 

Plays the built-in Backup Busy Prompt. The caller can dial to transfer the call or dial # 
to leave a message. 

Plays the Personal Busy Prompt or the Backup Busy Prompt if 

ADM_5_9903

_[x0xx] is specified. The caller can dial to transfer the call or 

dial # to leave a message. 

Plays the General Busy Prompt if the original destination is not a mailbox 
owner's internal phone. The caller can dial to transfer the call. 

Plays the Personal Don’t Disturb Greeting if the mailbox has 
DND-ON. The caller can only leave a message.
