1.4 Setting the External Current Sensor
Conversion Ratio (Option)
This section explains the following settings for the external current sensor conversion ratio. This
feature is available on models with the /EX1 to /EX6 option.
• Conversion ratio
• Copying the conversion ratio

SHIFT+EXT SENSOR
(SENSOR RATIO) to display the following menu.
Set the conversion ratio (0.0001 to 99999.9999).
Copies the conversion ratio
The conversion ratio of the input element that is indicated by the cursor is copied to all
the input elements in that element’s wiring unit.

Note
When using the dedicated shunt box, you can select an external current sensor conversion ratio preset in the
menu for configuring all elements (see section 1.17).
External Current Sensor Range and Conversion Ratio Configuration Example
When measuring a current with a maximum value of 100 A using a current sensor that produces 10 mV when
1 A of current is flowing, the maximum voltage that the current sensor produces is 10 mV/A × 100 A = 1 V.
Therefore, configure the settings as indicated below.
• External current sensor range:
1 V
• External current sensor conversion ratio: 10 mV/A
