8.4.6 Replacing the Microphone
Replace the Microphone as follows.

Remove the all-weather protector according
to subsection 8.4.4 “Removing and
reattaching of the All-weather protector”

Loosen the microphone body itself to remove
it from the adapter.

Screw a new microphone body and attach it
to the adapter tightly with fingers.

IMPORTANT
Don’t drop or hit the microphone.
High impact may cause damage to the
microphone.
IMPORTANT
Don’t loosen the protection grid and don’t
remove it from the microphone body.
It may cause damage to the microphone
diaphragm.
IMPORTANT
Do not loosen adapter when you loosen the
microphone. It can cause a wire breaking and
any other malfunctions.
8.4.7 Replacing the WN100
This subsection describes the procedure for
replacing the WN100. Replace the WN100 as
follows.
Step 1: Back up the configuration of the WN100.
Step 2: Remove the battery pack.
Step 3: Remove the WN100
Step 4: Remounting a new battery pack to a new
WN100.
Step 5: Restore the backed up configuration of the
WN100.
Step 6: set “Reset Energy Left” of UAPMO block to
“1” to initialize the remaining battery life.
Step 7: Performing provisioning work.
Step 8: Update the configuration of field wireless
gateway.
Step 9: Install the new WN100
To back up the configuration, use the device
configuration tool, such as FieldMate.
Performing provisioning work is necessary when
replacing the WN100. Update the configuration
information of the target device by using field
wireless configuration tool. For details of
provisioning, refer to subsection 6.2 “Connecting to
the Field Wireless Network”.
By the Step 6: , history data for the remaining
battery life calculation will be cleared and go back
to the initial state. The initial state is based on that
the battery is exchanged to a brand new one. In the
case of a second hand, calculated remaining life will
be inaccurate.
