6. Remove the ribbon cassette.
Pull the left-hand part of the ribbon cassette so that the cassette holder tab disen-
gages, and pull the ribbon cassette out from the recorder case.

Install a new ribbon cassette.
First, insert the right-hand part and then the left-hand part into the cassette holder.
Check that the cassette is properly engaged with the cassette holder tab.
If inserting the
ribbon cassette is difficult, turn the ribbon feeding knob in the direc-
tion of the arrow to align the ribbon feeding shaft of the cassette with the ribbon
feeding shaft hole of the holder.

Turn the ribbon feeding knob in the direction of the arrow a half turn or more to
check that the ribbon is feeding properly. If the ribbon is loose, turn the knob in the
direction of the arrow to tighten it.

Return the display and key panel section to its original position, and press the
(
CH UP
) key.
The screen returns to the data display screen.
