4.4.6

Simulate

This enables you to manually switch a contact on or off for inspection purposes.

On: S1/S2/S3: close, S4: open

Off: S1/S2/S3; open, S4; close

You can see the simulated contact settings on the measuring mode. If you move from device

configuration screen to main screen, Hold will be cancelled and will be simulated. If contact

output is simulated, an error (Check Function) occurs.
Apart from “Simulate “settings, MODBUS can simulate contact output without changing the

actual configuration.
The simulated output holds even after power turns off, but simulated output via communication

will be cancelled when you turn down power.

Fail safe

You can set this function to only S4.
When Fail safe function is selected and a fail is detected, the contact turns On (S4: open) and

stays On (S4: open) until you power On/Off. This time the system goes fail. (Fail safe occur)
When Fail safe function is selected and Failure is detected, even if you move the setting to other

than Fail safe, the Fail will stay On until you power On/Off.

Off

No contact output is used.
