6.1.2.3 Mounting of Arrester and Wiring
Mount an arrester between the extension cables
and connect the grounding cable to the grounding
terminal of the arrester as required.
Connect the grounding cable to the grounding
terminal on the transmitter body. Class C grounding
with the grounding resistance of 10 Ω or less is
necessary. Do not share the ground with other
devices.

6.2 Grounding
When using the antenna extension cable with an
arrestor, Class C grounding with the grounding
resistance of 10 Ω is required. Always ground the
transmitter case in accordance with national and
local electrical codes. The most effective transmitter
case grounding method is a direct connection to
earth ground with minimal impedance.
CAUTION
Grounding is required for safe operation.
