Verification (Device Health Diagnosis) Function
The verification function diagnoses the health of the product and displays the diagnosis result. It
takes about 15 minutes to complete the verification function, and the progress of the verification
function can be checked via the bar graph and the remaining time shown on the display.

This function can inspect each condition of the magnetic circuit, excitation circuit, and calculation
circuit, and executes the device health diagnosis of the product based on their internal alarm
record along with their wiring misconnection. This function evaluates the diagnosis result based
on the conditions of the product and shows “Passed” if no problem is found or “Failed” if a
problem is found on the display.
The following execution results are shown on the display.

Contact Yokogawa service center if the “Failed” message is displayed for items from “Magnetic
circuit result” to “Device status result”.
If “Failed” is displayed for “Connection status result”, check for wiring misconnection between the
sensor and transmitter (refer to Subsection 5.9.5 for detail) and damage on the cables.
The verification function can be used in two ways depending on the state of the fluid; one state
where a fluid is flowing and another state where no fluid is flowing.
The two diagnosis results (current and previous) are stored in the device memory, and they can
be checked later.
If the verification function is used, the following results can be displayed.
