This instrument is designed so that the multiplying factor is set from × 100 mΩ to × 10 MΩ by
changing the R

Therefore, the unknown resistance Rx is obtained by multiplying the value of
the measuring side dial Rs to the multiplying factor which is determined by the multiplying dial.
