WARRANTY:
In addition to the warranty required by law, this product is guaranteed
for 5 years
from date of manufacture. The material must be used according to the ins-
tructions provided and for its intended use. Faults must not be caused by deterioration or accidents resulting from negligence, anomalous use or incorrect installation. In all
cases, the warranty only includes replacement of faulty products. No compensation for loss or damage may be claimed.

Functions:
These modules implement various functions: toggle relay, staircase light timer, dimmer, timed relay and
dimmer. They may be used in installations with one or more pushbuttons.
Installation:
The module may be installed in rectangular flush-mounting boxes for 3, 4, 6 modules or in round boxes
(diameter 60 mm). In all cases, the pushbutton must not apply mechanical force on the module. The depth of the
module must be such to guarantee at least 1 mm of clearance around the module. It may also be installed in junction
boxes providing that a minimum volume of 100 cm³ is available for each installed module.
DO nOT InsTaLL On reMOTe COnTrOLLeD sOCKeTs: Installation on remote controlled sockets is risky
because end users could connect any type of electrical load and damage the module as a consequence.
500W 2A power: In normal installations, flush-mounting boxes are always joined by corrugated pipes which
let air through to provide the minimum ventilations sufficient to obtain a power of 500W. Full power use is
possible in open-air installations.
250W 1A power: The maximum permitted power is 250W in case of installation in sealed flush-mounting
boxes which do not let air circulate.
The module must be installed only by qualified personnel and into a place the end-user cannot access, according to the
installing national rules.
In order to follow the safety rules, the module must be connected to a power line that is upstream protected by a magne-
tothermic switch 10A C curve.
Wiring:
The module is wired to the circuit in series. It may be positioned either on live or on neutral. It is used to connect
pushbuttons with common connected to live or neutral.
The figures No 1, show the wiring of pushbuttons with common connected to live. If the common terminal is connected
to neutral, instead, simply change the purple and orange wires (corresponding to terminals ‘5’ and ‘6’ on DIN rail module)
as shown in the figures No. 2. The module may accept an unlimited number of pushbuttons with a maximum distance
of 50 m between module and pushbuttons.
CauTIOn! accessory FDVDT (Code 5454075) must be installed if the power line of the module is shared with
inductive loads
(e.g. window shutters or ferromagnetic ballasts or ferromagnetic transformers). The accessory must
be connected as close as possible to the module in parallel between live and neutral. The internal overvoltage pro-
tection of the module could be rapidly damaged without this accessory.
Power-up:
The operating state of the module is stored in case of blackout. The module will remain off when power
is restored if it was off before the blackout. It will switch on again at the same dimmer level if it was on.
Centralisation:
All 500 range modules can be centralised using a driver wire via the CVI50 accessory (Code
5454805). Simply connect all the local controls to a driver wire using multiple D600V accessories (Code 5454072).
