Identification
Pressing the SCAN command icon button, a 30 rows table will appear in the middle of the window. The
identification process will begin by the carousel turning and reading the presence of the cartridge(s) and its
barcode(s). The sample identification and test names will be displayed in its corresponding positions
followed by status displayed in the last column of the table to indicate problems of identification.
The types of status are as follows:
Expired, meaning the cartridge is expired.
Missing Calibration, meaning the test or the new lot of the test is not calibrated.
Test ID Undefined, meaning the test is not included in the method database.
Barcode error, meaning the barcode cannot be read or cannot be identification.
Note
Important
Expired cartridges are not suggested to use. In case of using the expired cartridges, the corresponding results
on the final report will be highlighted with the message: “the result may be not correct because of the use of
non-valid cartridge”. The user is fully responsible for potential error incurred in this case.
