Optical DO Calibration
The Optical DO sensor is calibrated by distilled water and known Optical DO value water. Proceed
as follows:
1.
Select
Optical DO
from the
Calibration. Lo Pt Raw
or
Hi Pt Raw
will appear.
Press the
ARROW
keys to
Lo Pt Raw
to make the selection then press
ENTER
to calibrate
the low Optical DO range in zero oxygen water.
Press
ENTER
to proceed. Place the probe in the zero oxygen water.
After pressing
ENTER,
raw data from the Optical DO sensor will appear, wait until the
readings are stable and press
ENTER.

Use
ENTER
key and arrow keys to
Set Lo Val
as 0
Optical DO.
3.
If you proceed with the high range calibration, select
Hi Pt Raw
by using the
arrow
keys and
press
ENTER
.
Place probe in a 100% oxygen saturation water.
Press
ENTER
, the raw data is displayed.
Immerse the probe in a 100% oxygen saturation water and wait for the probe to reach a
constant raw Optical DO value.
Then press
ENTER
.
4.
Use
ENTER
key and arrow keys to
Set Hi Val
Optical DO value 100.
5.
Select
Done & Cal
.
6.
Press
ENTER
.
7.
The Optical DO calibration is now complete.
