LDAP Server
This section explains how to use S-Series LDAP with different phones. The configuration settings
you enter in your phone will alter wildly dependant on how your LDAP server is configured. In this
guide, the LDAP settings on IP phone are configured according to Yeastar S-Series LDAP default
settings.
1. Configure LDAP Server Settings
1) Check the option
“Enable” to enable LDAP server.
2) Default LDAP server settings as below:
Base DN
: dc=pbx,dc=com
PBX DN
: ou=pbx,dc=pbx,dc=com
User Name
: cn=admin,dc=pbx,dc=com
Password
: password

2. Edit/Add Phone Book on LDAP Server
There is one default phone book that contains all the extension user contacts on the system. You can
also create a new phone book and add contacts there.
NOTE:
Yeastar S-Series supports creating 1 phonebook on LDAP server, and supports up to 1000 contacts
in one phonebook.
