The mute key LED glows red. The LCD screen indicates that the call is now muted.

Press the MUTE key again to unmute the call.
Muting and Unmuting While Dialing
Procedure:
1.
Press the MUTE key on the pre-dialing, dialing or calling screen.
The mute key LED glows red. The call is muted automatically when set up successfully.

Press the MUTE key again to unmute.
Note
Call Hold/Resume
You can place an active call on hold. Only one active call can be in progress at any time. Other
calls can be made and received while placing the original call on hold. The phone will play beep
of a specified frequency softly to remind you that you still have a call on hold. Your system
administrator can customize the frequency and configure when to play beep.
Note
Holding a Call
Procedure:
1.
Press the HOLD key or
Hold
during a call.
You can also mute the microphone when the IP phone is ringing.
If Music on Hold is enabled, the held party will hear a piece of music from IP PBX while
waiting. Check with your system administrator to find out if this feature is enabled on your
phone.
