Adjusting the Backlight
You can adjust the backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP40 expansion module via the host
phone. The backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP40 expansion module is synchronized with
that of the host phone.
Backlight has three options:
Active Level
: The intensity of the LCD screen when the phone is activity. You can choose a value
to represent the intensity.
Inactive Level
: The intensity of the LCD screen when the phone is inactivity. You can choose a
low intensity or turn off the backlight.
Backlight Time
: The delay time to change the intensity of the LCD screen when the phone is
inactivity. You can choose a designated time to change the intensity or turn on the backlight
permanently.
You can adjust the backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP40 expansion module from the
following options:

Always On:
Backlight is on permanently.


Backlight is turned off or dusky when the
phone is inactive after the designated time (in seconds).
To adjust the backlight on the LCD screen of the EXP40 expansion module connected to
the host phone (Taking the SIP-T46S IP phone as an example for reference):
