Periodic inspections must be performed by qualifi ed personnel, the product should be passed to an authorized service.
The inspections before each use of the hoist carried out by an operator or other qualifi ed person. In case of doubt in the result
evaluation of inspection, please contact an authorized service of the manufacturer.
Particular attention should be paid to the control of both hooks and chain, as these are most vulnerable parts to damage and
wear.
Hooks as the elements having direct contact with the load and place the hoist suspension may be damaged by the action of
chemicals, excessive load, as well as the application of forces in a diff erent place than it is intended for this. You should check the
opening of each hook whether the value, which is presented in the table below, is not exceeded.

If the opening of the hook exceeds the value from the table, hook should be replaced with a new one. The replacement should be
performed in the manufacturer’s authorized service center.
The chain should be checked for cracked, deformed or otherwise damaged links. Check the wear of the chain links at the point
where they contact with each other. If links at the contact place are narrowed or damaged, the chain should be replaced with a
new one.
Check whether the chain moves smoothly on its whole length.
If you notice any chain damage, the chain should be replaced with a new one. It is forbidden to exchange individual links.
The chain after each use should be preserved by means of preventing rust or by means of thin oil machine. Then, wipe off the
excess of the applied medium.
Storage of the hoist
The hoist should be stored in an atmosphere of a neutral character. The atmosphere in the storage area can not be moist, cor-
rosive or dusted. The product should be inspected before its storage and all irregularities should be corrected. The chain should
be preserved according to the method described above. Store the product in small single unit packs supplied with the product,
or other containers, which allow for ventilation. The product should be stored in places protected from access of unauthorized
persons. The product should be protected against precipitation.
