XGI Gateway Inverters Firewall
SOLECTRIA XGI inverters have a robust built-in firewall that is automatically established on the Gateway Inverter after
receiving an IP address assigned via a DHCP or through manual static IP configuration. This act of establishing a firewall
also designates an inverter as a Gateway Inverter. Once this firewall is established unauthorized inbound or outbound
communication is not permitted through the Gateway Inverter.
Networking with Other Devices
Networking with other Ethernet based devices including revenue grade meters, tracking systems, weather stations, etc.
should only be done outside of the inverter Cluster LAN, or outside of the Inverter Gateway Firewall; see Figure 3-26.
