SYS CRITICAL FSU FUNCT
DISABLED
The Functional Safety Unit has
several files which need to be
enabled to ensure safe operation
of the cell. The Functional Safety
Unit uses one of the “Robot Range
Limit” files to control or limit the
range of robot motion based on
several conditions.
In PLAY mode - with both barriers
open, Robot Range Limit File #3
will be active, if someone changed
the logic or other setting, this alarm
could occur. Under normal
operation this file is activate by the
safety proximity signals from each
barrier door. If the safety proximity
is not activating properly this alarm
may also occur falsely.
In PLAY mode - with both barriers
closed (up), Robot Range Limit
File #4 will be active, if someone
changed the logic or other setting,
this alarm could occur. Under
normal operation this file is
activated by the safety proximity
signals from each barrier door. If
the safety proximity is not
activating properly this alarm may
also occur falsely.
In PLAY mode - Robot Range Limit
File #3 and #4 must always be
active, if someone changed the
logic or other setting, this alarm
could occur.

RANGE LIMIT and verify that all
Files 1 through 6 are setup per
ROBOT RANGE FILE #5
DISABLED
