NOTE:

Make sure the chain brake is disengaged or

you will not be able to refit the chain brake/clutch
cover.

•

Adjust the saw chain tension screw so that if the
chain is gently pulled down with the fingers at the
centre of the bar the gap between the chain and
the bar is 6 to 8mm.

CHECK:

At this point double check to see if the

chain is sitting correctly on the sprocket and chain
bar. Do not proceed until they are sitting correctly.

•

Firmly tighten the bar fastening nuts.
