FAQ for Robotic Mower
1. If there are some slopes and some uneven ground in my garden, how can I lay the boundary line?
1. What should I pay attention to when I install the boundary line?
If the lawn surface is uneven, it may cause the blade to touch the ground. Then you need to trim
the uneven area before laying the boundary line, or use the boundary line to exclude the uneven
area first. In addition, if the lawn in the garden has a certain slope, if the slope is greater than or
equal to 10%, it is necessary to leave a distance of at least two meters at the bottom of the slope
before laying the boundary line. To prevent too fast downhill speed will make the robot rush out of
the boundary line.
First, start with the docking station and surround the entire work area with a boundary line, and
the entire boundary line must be set up as a continuous loop without any breaks or crossings.
When laying, use the attached ruler to check the distance to the border. When winding the border
around the corner, avoid right angles. It is divided into two 45° angles. To ensure the Robotic
Mower can return to the docking station smoothly, leave 2m of straight wire to the front of the
docking station and 1m to the side facing the cutting area. The key point is to ensure that the
docking station is placed on a flat ground and pay attention to the protection of the power cord.

2. Is there any distance between boundary wire and the edge of garden when I place it in the garden?
Yes. The robotic mower itself is around 40 cm wide, which means when it drive in the center of
boundary wire, 20 cm will be out of the boundary. This means when place boundary wire, the wire
should have at least 20cm away from the edge of garden. Unless robotic mower may damage
himself when drive along the wire.
3. I bought a robotic mower with Wi-Fi, how could I setup?
Before setup Wi-Fi, please ensure:
1. The charging station should be covered by Wi-Fi signal from your house router;
2. The Wi-Fi signal should be 2.4Ghz. (on the market, the main Wi-Fi router is dual band with
2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. In this case, please ensure the 2.4Ghz band is turned on);
3. If the Wi-Fi signal is too low in the garden to connect, you could choose a Wi-Fi booster
installed at your home, or purchase a YARD FORCE Wi-Fi booster installed on the charging
station;
4. When pair your robotic mower with App, please ensure the robotic mower is near the charging
station and the Wi-Fi signal.
2. Is there any points I should pay attention to when place charing station?
When placing charging station, please ensure the direction of charging station is right; the station
should near the power supply; there is no high voltage cabel above or beneath the mowing area.
After successfully placed the boundary wire, and the LED light flashes, it means the no boundary
wire, please ensure the boundary wire does not damaged, or the “F” and “B” installed correctly.
