remove the coolant drain plug

 Loosen the alternator mounting bolts. Loosen 

and remove the V-belt and rotate the alternator 
away from the engine and out of the way.

Carefully rotate the alternator toward the 
cylinder block while loosening the V-belt. 
Failure to comply may result in minor or
