this operation manual handy for reference over the entire life of the scale.

Warns users about a procedure that could result in injury or property damage if not
performed properly or if ignored.

Warns users about a procedure that could result in minor injury or damage to the
scale if not performed properly or if ignored.

Safety Precautions
Danger - To Avoid Electric Shock
Do not step on, or place heavy or edged objects on the AC adapter cord.
Do not disconnect the AC adapter by pulling on the cord. Connect and disconnect the AC adapter
by holding the plastic body of the AC adapter.
Do not connect or disconnect the AC adapter while the adapter body, cord, or your hands are wet.
Do not spray water onto or submerge the scale.
Danger - To Avoid Explosion and Fire
This scale is not an explosion-proof model. Do not use the scale in an atmosphere containing
flammable gases or explosive fumes. A fire or an explosion can result.
