Periodic maintenance

2.

Be sure to use the clean-out tool (lodged snow 
remover) to remove snow and other obstacles from 
the auger housing.

3.

Remove the locknut, the shear bolt.

4.

Install the new shear bolt and then tighten the new 
locknut to the specified torque.

Adjusting the scraper

1.

Stop the engine and remove the engine switch key.

2.

Loosen the nuts.

3.

Loosen the left and right bolts.

Tightening torque:

Locknut:

10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m)

• Tighten the locknut to the specified torque. 

Shear bolt may be damaged if they are loosely 
installed.

• Use genuine shear bolt only.

Position the Snowblower on a level surface.
