This indicator light comes on when the
transmission is in the neutral position.

Hi g h b eam in d icator li g ht “ ”
This indicator light comes on when the
high beam of the headlight is switched
on.

Cruise control in d icator li g hts “ ”
an d “SET”
These indicator lights come on when
the cruise control system is activated.

TIP
When the vehicle is turned on, these
lights should come on for a few sec-
onds and then go off. If the lights do
not come on, have a Yamaha dealer
check the vehicle.

En g ine trou b le warnin g li g ht “ ”
This warning light comes on if a prob-
lem is detected in the engine. If this oc-
curs, have a Yamaha dealer check the
on-board diagnostic system.
The electrical circuit of the warning
light can be checked by turning the ve-
hicle power on. The warning light
should come on for a few seconds,
and then go off.
If the warning light does not come on at
all, or if the warning light remains on,
have a Yamaha dealer check the vehi-
cle.

ABS warnin g li g ht “ ”
In normal operation, the ABS warning
light comes on when the vehicle is
turned on and goes off after traveling at
a speed of 10 km/h (6 mi/h) or higher.
If the ABS warning light:

does not come on when the vehi-
cle is turned on

does not go off after traveling 10
km/h (6 mi/h)

comes on or flashes while riding
then the ABS (3-27) may not work cor-
rectly. If any of the above occurs, have
a Yamaha dealer check the vehicle as
soon as possible.

off after travelin g at a spee d of 10
km/h (6 mi/h) or hi g her, or if the
warnin g li g ht comes on or flashes
while ri d in g , the b rake system re-
verts to conventional b rakin g . If ei-
ther of the a b ove occurs, or if the
warnin g li g ht d oes not come on at
all, use extra caution to avoi d possi-
b le wheel lock d urin g emer g ency
b rakin g . Have a Yamaha d ealer
check the b rake system an d electri-
cal circuits as soon as possi b le.

Traction control system in d icator
li g ht “TCS”
This indicator light will flash when trac-
tion control has engaged.
If the traction control system is turned
off, this indicator light will come on.
