S-video connection

Connect a video device to this unit with an S-video cable and a stereo pin cable.

If you select the input source by pressing AV5, the video/audio played back on the
video device will be output from this unit.

• When video signals are input through the S VIDEO jack and VIDEO jack of the AV5 jack at the same time,

priority is given to the signals input through the S VIDEO jack.

• Analog videos that can be output to the TV differ according to the “Analog to Analog Conversion” setting.

For details, see “Video signal flow” (p.122).

Composite video connection

Connect a video device to this unit with a video pin cable and an audio cable (digital
coaxial, digital optical or stereo pin cable). Choose a set of input jacks (on this unit)
depending on the audio output jacks available on your video device.

If you select the input source by pressing AV3~6, the video/audio played back on the
video device will be output from this unit.
