Transporting
When transporting your snowmobile on a
trailer or in a truck, observe the following rec-
ommendations to help protect it from dam-
age:
If transporting the snowmobile in an open
trailer or truck, put a tight fitting cover on
the snowmobile. A cover specifically de-
signed for your snowmobile is best. This
will help keep foreign objects out of the
cooling vents, and also help protect the
snowmobile against damage from debris
on the road.
If transporting the snowmobile in an open
trailer or truck in areas where road salt is
used, coat metal suspension surfaces
lightly with oil or another protectant. This
will help protect against corrosion. Be sure
to clean the snowmobile when you get to
your destination to remove any corrosive
salts.
