Determines the f u nction of the foots w itch connected to the
SUSTAIN jack (page 45). W hen “1 (S u stain)” or “4 (Sosten u t)”
is selected, the foots w itch w orks as a damper pedal or soste-
n u to pedal as on an aco u stic piano. Note that s u stain does not
affect the Split Voice, w hile sosten u to affects only the Split
Voice w hen Split is on. W hen “2 (Arp Hold)” is selected, press-
ing the foots w itch maintains Arpeggio play b ack e v en if yo u
release the notes (page 56). W hen “3 (S u s+ArpH)” is selected,
b oth the Arpeggio Hold and S u stain f u nctions are assigned to
the foots w itch.
• The MIDI and Audio settings are designed specifically for convenient use for when an external device such as a computer is connected
to the [USB TO HOST] terminal (page 47).
