UTILITY
LOADING/TOWING
●
Do not drive across the face of slope.
●
Avoid poor driving conditions such
as wet lawns and rough surfaces.
Vehicle handling and stability may be
reduced.
●
Stop the engine, remove ignition key
and make sure trailer is correctly
installed before towing trailer.
●
Do not allow people to ride in cargo
bed or trailer.
●
Reduce speed and exercise extreme
caution when carrying cargo or tow-
ing a trailer, which could affect han-
dling, control, stability, and braking
performance.
●
When driving on slopes, reduce
speed and avoid sudden starts or
stops.
Excessive speed or sudden starts or
stops could cause loss of control and
could lead to vehicle overturning.
Abrupt starts going uphill or abrupt
braking backing down a slope could
cause the front wheels to lift off the
ground, reducing control and
increasing the chance of an acci-
dent.
●
Do not tow with any point except
specified hitch point and never
exceed maximum specified weight
on hitch point.
●
Do not operate on steep hills when
fully loaded.
●
Do not exceed the maximum load
limit.
Be sure to check “LOADING/ TRAIL-
ER TOWING” carefully before load-
ing or towing (See page 7-2).
