Install the starter relay, and then connect
the starter relay leads.

Install the junction box cover.

Checking the engine start switch

Disconnect the engine start switch cou-
pler.

Check the engine start switch for continu-
ity at the engine start switch coupler.
Replace the engine start switch if out of
specification.

703 remote control

Connect the engine start switch coupler.

Checking the neutral switch (remote
control)

Disconnect the remote control coupler.

Check the neutral switch for continuity.

Turn the engine start switch to “START” posi-
tion when checking the continuity on the 703
remote control.
