Drive shaft and lower case (regular rotation model)

Removing the drive shaft

Remove the cover “1”, drive shaft hous-
ing “2”, pinion shims “3”, and thrust bear-
ing “4”.

Loosen the pinion nut, and then remove
the pinion “1”, drive shaft “2”, and sleeve.

Remove the forward gear assembly “1”.

Disassembling the drive shaft
housing

Remove the O-ring “1”.

Remove the oil seals “1”.

Remove the needle bearing “1”.

Disassembling the forward gear

Remove the taper roller bearing inner
race “1”.

Drive shaft holder 6 “3”: 90890-06520
Pinion nut holder “4”: 90890-06715

Needle bearing attachment “2”:
