If the engine is stopped by the CO SENSOR system,
change the operating location of the generator to well-
ventilated area.

Place the generator so that the muffler is pointed
in the same direction as the wind is blowing, and
the exhaust gas is directed away from buildings,
other structures, or vehicles.

Avoid placing the generator near devices that emit
carbon monoxide, such as other generators.
WARNING

Do not operate the generator in an enclosed or
partly enclosed area such as a garage.

Do not enclose or cover the generator with
boards or a tent, even if it is outside and away
from of a building.
While this indicator light is flashing and the CO
SENSOR is activated, the engine cannot be restarted
for approximately 5 minutes. Restarting the generator
is possible only after the WARNING indicator light is
turned off.
