Connections
Use the MIDI terminals and standard MIDI cables to connect external MIDI devices (keyboard, sequencer,
etc.). Using MIDI, you can control a connected MIDI device from this instrument, or control the instrument
from a connected MIDI device or computer.
CAUTION
Before connecting the instrument to other electronic components, turn off the power of all the
components. Also, before turning any components on or off, make sure to set all volume levels to
minimum (0). Otherwise, electrical shock or damage to the components may occur.
• MIDI [IN]
Receives MIDI messages from another MIDI device.
• MIDI [OUT]
Transmits MIDI messages generated by the instrument to another MIDI
device.
• MIDI [THRU]
Simply relays the MIDI messages received at MIDI IN.
